Where can I apply for Rental, Utility and Mortgage assistance?

  • If you live in Doña Ana County – Apply Here
  • If you live in Bernalillo County, outside of ABQ city limits – Apply Here
  • If you live in any New Mexico county or within the Albuquerque city limits – Apply Here
  • If you are a homeowner in New Mexico in need of utility assistance Apply Here
  • If you are a homeowner in New Mexico in need of mortgage assistanceApply Here

What Documents do I Need to Apply?

Applicants will be required to provide documentation showing:

  • The applicant is renting a residential dwelling
  • That the applicant lives in NM
  • That the applicant has been indirectly or directly impacted by COVID-19
  • At least one household member is at risk of homelessness or housing instability
  • The applicant’s household is under the Program Income Limits

Need help with your ERAP application for rent and utility assistance? Join us at ExpoNM during the Roadrunner food bank distribution on Tuesday, August 17th to start your application. Volunteers will be on site to help you with your application.

Senator Heinrich and Congresswoman Stansbury will be joining us to support the Emergency Rental Assistance Program.
